In Cuba the theme of spirit and matter reoccurred, this time in the form of the snake doing battle with the bird. This image was a repetitive symbol drawn in chalk on the sidewalks of Havana.
In Mexico, I explored Mayan hieroglyphics, and then learned of the Tsunami in Thailand. I began to work on images symbolizing the beauty of an apocalypse, however devastating.
